Alper Biotech launches its online store with its first product
Alper Biotech offers its first monoclonal for online sales, pCBP-1. This newly recognized antibody is of particular interest to those researchers working in the field of breast cancer. Remarkably, Alper-pCBP-1 recognized a protein known to express in breast cancer— Poly[rC]binding protein-1. Finding an antibody clever enough to highlight the protein in a blood sample will certainly pique the interest of cancer researchers because previous to this finding, the protein was described only in tissue samples.*
For the cancer researcher, Alper-pCBP-1’s benefits are that it:
- Is the first monoclonal antibody to recognize PCBP-1 in blood samples as well as tissue;
- Requires a tiny blood sample—only one microliter;
- Works with Western Blotting, immunoprecipitation, ELISA, indirect immunofluorescent & flow cytometry testing.
